Luke Donald has shown great promise over the past year, it is evident that he thrives under pressure, but he now needs to step up his game even further and complete the missing piece to his career – a major championship.
He won four times last year, including the Accenture Match Play Championship, a WGC event, and the BMW PGA Championship, the European Tour’s flagship tournament.

“Obviously, the one thing that’s missing from my resume is a major,” Donald said.

“I feel like this year, I’ve done everything but win a major and I’m excited about 2012.

“I’m not going to be greedy. I’d love to win one major championship, but I guess winning the grand slam (all four majors in one season) would be the ultimate thing. It’s certainly possible, but the chances are very slim.”

With his solid determination, Luke Donald will definitely be one to watch this year.
